Plaid Shirt Farms is a berry grower specializing in Black Currants and Haskaps. In addition, we are Canada’s sole propagator of Savannah Institute’s cultivars of Black Currants.
We are looking for students to fill our summer- time positions.
Job Description
Assist with all facets of berry crop production: weeding, irrigation, scouting, pest identification, harvesting and grading.
Assist with nursery operation; irrigation, fertilizing, sorting, grading.
Possibility of being part of a market team.
No experience necessary, we will train, including safety training.
Schedule: Monday to Friday. Some Saturdays may be required during harvest.
