Haskaps
The flavour of Haskap berries has been described as a mix of Raspberry and Blueberry, some say with a trace of Plum. When harvested correctly they are always described as delicious!
Black Currants
BlackCurrants, a fruit with a long and interesting history, are attracting a lot of attention of late, providing another example of how “what’s old is new again”.

My husband is diabetic. The Haskap Jam did not spike his sugar levels & we love the somewhat sweet & fresh flavour.

Your jam was superb in every way.
Let me count the ways. Firstly, the balance between sweetness and tartness was perfect. Secondly, the jar was full of fruit, and the fruit had it’s shape. This is very uncommon but essential for the full black currant taste. Thirdly, it was not too jammy and dry but was more loose and not too dense and dry. Once again just right. LL
